Doug Beilstein "After the Seeds" |  Photo Competition

Doug Bielstien, Executive Vice-President of the American Hosta Society and keen member of the Hybridizers group ‘The Fraternal Order of Seedy Fellows’ talked about growing hosta from seed.

In his talk he took us from planting the hosta seed, to growing them on, feeding and caring for the seedlings, culling the poor ones, selecting the
best and potting them on.

Members who attended received a pack of top quality hosta seeds.

Did you plant your seeds yet?
